With around an hour to go before kickoff, the confirmed Borussia Dortmund vs 1.FC Union Berlin lineups have been announced and you can find the official starting XIs below.

BVB coach Niko Kovač has made 3 wholesale changes from their 3-3 draw to St.Pauli last weekend with Chelsea loanee Anselmino in for his debut in defence as he replaces the suspended Filippo Mané.

Meanwhile, there's a pair of tweaks in both midfield and the forward line as Pascal Groß is replaced by Julian Brandt who shifts into the No.10 role, while Maximilian Beier takes over from Karim Adeyemi.

As for Union, head coach Steffen Baumgart has made one solitary alteration from the eleven who defeated VfB Stuttgart on the opening round of the new Bundesliga season - Alex Karl replaces Andras Schäfer in midfield.
