Germany officially announce 2026 World Cup squad

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada just three weeks away, Germany have unveiled their squad for the tournament.
The full selection was announced by head coach Julian Nagelsmann on Thursday afternoon.
Notable absentees include Serge Gnabry and Marc-André ter Stegen, who both miss out through injury. Despite earlier reports suggesting a call-up, Said El Mala of 1. FC Köln has also been omitted.
As expected, Bayern Munich veteran Manuel Neuer has come out of international retirement to be included in the squad, which is listed in full below.
