Kane received about 200 texts after Ballon d'Or win - "I didn't even know I knew that many people!"

Harry Kane gave some insights over the celebrations after receiving the Ballon d'Or, describing the night as an “unforgettable experience”. The Bayern Munich striker was celebrated by his teammates and received an overwhelming number of messages following the achievement.

"The night was epic. We were really happy. My teammates, friends and family celebrated with me, it was a great evening," Kane said ahead of Bayern's DFB-Pokal match against Magdeburg.

The England international also revealed the extent of the support he received, admitting that the number of messages took him by surprise.

"I received more than 200 messages. I didn't even know I knew that many people. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone. It's a great achievement, and it makes me happy to see that people are thinking of me," Kane added.
