Kane after Stuttgart win: "There are moments where everything goes in"

Harry Kane celebrated the end of a short but notable goal drought with a second half hat-trick against Stuttgart. Despite this, it did not always look like he would score.

In the first half, Harry Kane had multiple shots and was unfortunate not to score.

Adding to this, he missed a key opportunity in the 51st minute as an open goal chance went begging. Once again, it seemed as if he would go without a goal.

However, a long range finish outside the box just before the hour mark earnt him his first strike. Minutes later, his second came via a mess up in the box which he took advantage of.

The last goal came in the 80th thanks to a blocked shot falling into his path.

After the game, Harry Kane spoke to Sky Germany and said: “As a striker there are moments where everything you touch goes in. When you don't score there's a lot of talk (following his three-game drought).”

He added: “I think we played well in the last few games but the results weren't there. It was an important game at home today. We wanted to win and put up a good performance for the fans. It was four-nil but it could've been six or seven.”

Kane heads into the next matchweek in second place in the Torjägerkanone race and is one goal behind Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush who has nine this season.
