With seven games packed into just three weeks, Bayern Munich have been boosted by the injury returns of Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies.

As FC Bayern coach Vincent Kompany announced on Friday, both players used the international break to shake off injuries and regain fitness ahead of a crucial run of fixtures, which includes a Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid.

“Both are options for the next few games. Whether they can play three games in a week or a full 90 minutes is another question,” Kompany said at a press conference.

"But we no longer have the luxury of that much choice. We have to win. And everyone has to deliver to the max and show their best level. I've seen we'll get their quality in the minutes they do play. We try to make logical decisions."

Manuel Neuer, Jonas Urbig, Aleksandar Pavlovic, and Hiroki Ito are also back in contention for Saturday's game against SC Freiburg, but Harry Kane is out due to a knock, Kompany confirmed.
