Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Mathys Tel would be exploring the possibility of leaving Bayern Munich before the transfer window closes on Monday.

According to reports, Tottenham since made an offer to sign the 19-year-old on a loan deal with a purchase obligation worth €60 million.

Bayern were prepared to make the deal happen, but Tel ultimately decided against it. And when he did, he indicated to Tottenham that he wanted to stay at Bayern and reassess his options in the summer, according to The Athletic.

As such, it seems that there is a real possibility that Tel will remain at the Allianz Arena, although a loan move could still happen, with Manchester United in particular said to be pushing for his signature.

According to Fussball.news, Manchester United are "working hard" to sign Tel on loan and the interest is mutual, with the Frenchman "very interested" in a move to Old Trafford.

Arsenal and Aston Villa are also said to be showing interest in the 19-year-old striker.

According to Sky Germany, Tel will not be in Bayern's squad to face Holstein Kiel on Saturday.
