Report: No release clause in Schick's new Leverkusen contract

Bild claims that Patrik Schick's new long-term deal with Bayer Leverkusen doesn't contain a release clause.
Earlier today, Patrik Schick committed his long-term future to Bayer Leverkusen by extending his contract until 2027.

The contract extension means speculation over Schick's future has been put to rest – especially because there is no release clause in the striker's new deal, according to Bild.

Schick's previous contract was due to expire in 2025 and didn't contain a release clause either.

Leverkusen paid €26.5 million to sign Schick from Roma in 2020. Since then, the striker has found the net 37 times in 67 games for the club.
