Yussuf Poulsen has admitted he could leave RB Leipzig if the club can't give him the amount of first-team football he wants.

In an interview with Kicker, the veteran striker stressed that he wants to play at the "highest level" for as long as possible.

"As long as that's possible in Leipzig, that's great. But if that's not the case, I'll have to look at a change," Poulsen said.

"I am not a player who wants to sit on the bench all the time, added the 28-year-old.

Even though his contract expires next year, Poulsen insists he hasn't given much thought to his future.

"So far I haven't given any thought to what comes after 2024," he insisted.

Poulsen has started just four games for Leipzig in all competitions this season.
