The 22-year-old nearly joined Arsenal in the winter, but stayed at PSG and ultimately made the switch to Germany in the summer instead - and he is confident that he made the right choice.
"The overall package is right here: The structure, philosophy, sporting goals and opportunity to develop as a young player. After four months, I can say that I made the right decision," Nkunku told Kicker.
Leaving Paris "wasn't easy", but Nkunku found it necessary to find a new club as he wasn't satisfied with his role in the French capital.
"I did play, but only when one of the stars was injured, suspended or given a break. That wasn't enough for me," the midfielder explained.
Nkunku has made 15 appearances for RB Leipzig so far, racking up three goals and four assists.
