Borussia Mönchengladbach veteran Raffael has no plans of hanging up his boots anytime soon.

The versatile offensive player, who turns 35 years old in March, wants to keep playing for number years despite his advanced age.

"I still love football very much, so I would like to play for three or four more years. I'm healthy, and my muscles are doing well," Raffael said in an interview with Bild.

Raffael's contract with Gladbach runs out at the end of the season, and he would like to stay in Germany if he ends up leaving 'Die Fohlen' as he's in the process of getting a new house constructed in the municipality of Jüchen.

"We will certainly talk to each other soon," Raffael said and added:

"If the club plan something else, I'll have to look around, of course.

"I'd like to stay here in Germany, because I'm building a house for my family in Jüchen," he said.

Raffael has made 198 appearances for Gladbach with 71 goals and 35 assists to his name since he joined the club from Dynamo Kyiv in 2013.
