As Bulinews reported live from the Red Bull Arena tonight, RB Leipzig's Rômulo reflected on their 2-0 win over SC Freiburg and who he dedicated his goal to.

“My family came over from Brazil. This was the first game they saw me play here. My brother is going to be a father; it’s going to be a boy.

“I found out [about the news] yesterday. So the goal and my celebration were for my nephew,” he said with a smile.

“It was a difficult game. Freiburg pressed high and didn't make it easy for us. We weren't fully focused and made mistakes we don't usually make.

"But in the second half we played faster and scored the goals. It was important to start [2026] like this.

“We remain in the race for the top four. It will be difficult against Bayern, but every game is difficult in the Bundesliga,” Rômulo added.
