Timo Werner will definitely not be joining Bayern München from RB Leipzig this summer, according to Bild.

Instead, the 24-year-old wants to move abroad and would prefer signing for Liverpool, where he would be able to team up with Jürgen Klopp.

After seemingly missing out on Werner, Bayern are now expected to focus on the signing of Leroy Sané from Manchester City.

Manchester City are expected to demand around €85 million for the German international, but Bayern will be hoping to negotiate the price down to €70 million.

Bayern coach Hansi Flick has had his doubts about Sané, but after having a phone call with the winger, he has reportedly given the green light for the transfer to go ahead.
