Badredine Bouanani is now a Stuttgart player after completing his transfer for a reported €20 million from OGC Nice. The Algerian international is the sixth signing by the Swabians this summer.

The 20-year-old winger signed a contract until 2030 in Stuttgart. The right-winger could play across the attacking midfield positions. Nice’s failure to qualify for the league phase of the Champions League helped Stuttgart to finalize the move. Bouanani takes the number 27 at his new club.

“Badredine Bouanani is a player we have been looking for some time,” said Stuttgart’s director of sport Fabian Wohlgemuth. “He’s offensively flexible. And, despite his young age, he already brings with him international experience from European competitions. His playing style gives us additional options for our offensive game.”

Stuttgart also expected to complete the transfer of Leicester City’s sought-after midfielder Bilal El Khannouss.
