Despite securing their place in the Champions League final tonight, PSG's João Neves took his time to pay respect to Bayern Munich at full time.

“Playing against Bayern is always difficult; they're a great team,” the Portuguese midfielder said, speaking to French TV channel Canal+.

"We know how to suffer. We're ready for what's coming. Even with injuries, all the players are ready to play.

“That's how you build a great team. We're very proud of our journey. It's time to celebrate, to be with the group, our family,” he added.

Similar to João Neves, the Parisian's coach Luis Enrique and talented winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia credited the Bavarians.

“The character we showed against a team like Bayern is so positive. We're so happy to reach a second Champions League final in a row.

“It was very intense. Very difficult. They play football at the highest level. Both teams are similar, we love to press higher. We are very happy,” Enrique said.

“Bayern are one of the best teams right now – it was very difficult, the hardest one of the season. We showed we can play against these teams," Kvaratskhelia added.
