Enzo Millot is likely to leave VfB Stuttgart at the end of the season, with the Frenchman reported to have a release clause of just under €20 million.

As such, it makes sense for Stuttgart to look at potential replacements, and it appears that director of sport Fabian Wohlgemuth has found one in Augsburg.

According to Sport Bild, Alexis Claude-Maurice is a top target for the Swabians.

The 26-year-old attacker has enjoyed an impressive first season in the Bundesliga, scoring nine goals, and most recently caught the eye with a hat-trick in Augsburg's 3-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Claude-Maurice, who joined Augsburg on a free transfer from OGC Nice last summer, is under contract until 2027.

Muhammed Damar, currently on loan at Elversberg from Hoffenheim, and Hertha BSC's Ibrahim Maza have also been touted as possible replacements for Millot.
