Report: Union interested in Stuttgart attacker

Union Berlin could make a move for Stuttgart's Woo-yeong Jeong before the end of the transfer window.

Woo-yeong Jeong has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth at VfB Stuttgart since joining the club from Freiburg in the summer.

And after being left out of Stuttgart's first two games of the season, he could be on his way out.

According to Kicker, Union Berlin are working on a deal to sign the 24-year-old attacker.

Union's sporting director Horst Heldt is said to be working with those responsible at his former club to reach an agreement.

Jeong, who scored two goals and provided three assists in 26 appearances for Stuttgart last season, is capable of playing on the wings and in a central attacking role.
