VfL Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz appears to be facing the sack.

According to Wolfsburger Allgemeine and Aller-Zeitung, his departure from the Bundesliga club is expected to be announced during the international break.

Schindzielorz’s reported imminent exit is linked not only to Wolfsburg’s disappointing results this season, but also to his poor relationship with the players.

The club recently dismissed head coach Paul Simons after securing just one win in their last eight matches.

For now, no decision has been made regarding managing director for sport Peter Christiansen.
