Bayern Munich's long injury list is creating opportunities for some of their younger players.

16-year-old Leonard Prescott will make his first start in goal in Wednesday's Champions League round of 16 second-leg clash with Atalanta if Jonas Urbig isn't deemed fit enough to play, while Filip Pavić is in line for his first inclusion in the senior squad, according to TZ.

Pavić, also just 16 years old, has impressed for Bayern’s youth teams this season and recently made the jump from the U17s to the U19s.

The young centre-back is also a German youth international, having represented the U16s nine times.
