Arsenal FC and FC Barcelona are among the clubs monitoring Julian Brandt, who will be a free agent this summer, Sky Germany reports.

After seven years with Borussia Dortmund, it was recently confirmed that Brandt wants to take the next step abroad in his career.

With clubs in Spain, Italy and the UK considered potential destinations, the 29-year-old appears to have multiple options available to him.

However, it must be noted that there are no concrete talks being held between his representatives and any club just yet.

According to the report, Brandt received two inquiries from Premier League clubs during the winter transfer window but turned them down.

The attacking midfielder apparently said he wanted to finish the remainder of the current season with Dortmund instead.

So far this campaign, Brandt has provided 10 goals and 5 assists in 32 games across all competitions for Niko Kovač's side.
