Bayern make new offer to Nico Williams

Although Nico Williams is reportedly set to join Barcelona, Bayern Munich have not given up their pursuit and are said to have made him a new offer.

Bayern Munich’s pursuit of Nico Williams seemed over when it was announced that the Athletic Club winger had chosen to join FC Barcelona.

However, according to reports, Bayern have not yet given up on signing the Spain international.

L’Equipe states that Bayern have made Williams a new offer worth €10 million net per year, plus €2 million in bonuses.

Paying the winger’s release clause - reportedly around €58 million - is said to be no problem for Bayern.

The main challenge remains convincing Williams to choose Munich over Barcelona. But if his move to Catalonia falls through, the German champions are clearly prepared to act swiftly.

Meanwhile, Bayern are also exploring other options, including Rafael Leão and Bradley Barcola.
