'RTI Esporte' is reporting that that FC Bayern Munich has submitted a €32million offer to FC Santos for Gabriel Bontempo.

The 21-year-old could be a replacement for the outgoing Nöel Aséko and João Palhinha who will both likely leave this summer.

However, the Brazilian club are reportedly only willing to negotiate with the Bavarian giants for offers of €49million or greater.

Still, there is some positive news for Bayern – due to the club's tricky financial situation, Santos reportedly needs to generate revenue.

Therefore, selling the homegrown talent who is a versatile midfielder by trade is being seriously considered by the Brazilian outfit.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether the German record champions would be willing to dig even deeper into their pockets.

Left-back Nathaniel Brown and attacking midfielder Ismael Saibari already cost more than €100 million combined thus far.
