Bologna's Dallinga among several marksmen linked with VfB Stuttgart

VfB appear to be working intensively behind the scenes to sign a new striker with several options listed.

As Stuttgarter Nachrichten reports, Thijs Dallinga is on VfB Stuttgart's list of potential candidates as a new center forward.

Dallinga moved from FC Toulouse to Bologna a year and a half ago for €15million as the successor to ex-Bayern striker Joshua Zirkzee. 

The Dutch striker has played a significant role since moving there, with two goals and four assists in 13 matches for the Serie A club. 

The newspaper also mentions Romeo Vermant from Club Brugge as another marksman said to be considered by the Swabians. 

Interestingly, 21-year-old was born in Gelsenkirchen, but currently plays for Belgium he has 4 goals and 2 assists in 18 Brugge. 

Other candidates Stuttgart have been linked with include Arnaud Kalimuendo of Nottingham Forest and Racing Santander's Jeremy Arévalo.
