Last week, Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp called up a total of 44 players for the four upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures, splitting them into two squads for two matches each.
On Monday, the players from the first squad arrived at the training camp in Herzogenaurach.
Among them was FC Barcelona’s Karim Adeyemi, who had originally been named in the second squad, with the German Football Association confirming that he has switched places with Bayern Munich youngster Lennart Karl for workload management reasons.
Germany's first squad will be in action on Thursday for an away game against the Netherlands before hosting Greece on Sunday.
The second squad will then take over for a home match against Serbia on October 1, followed by an away game against Greece on October 4.
