The Brazilian has yet to solidify his place with the Rhineland club since joining three years ago.

Despite a shortage of high-quality options at right-back, Arthur is reportedly set to be sold by Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

According to Kicker.de, a loan deal for the 23-year-old is imminent, with both Hamburger SV and Werder Bremen are vying for him.

The Brazilian joined Leverkusen from América FC three years ago for around €7million, but constantly fell foul of injuries.

Meanwhile, both HSV and Bremen are looking to strengthen at right-back, and Arthur could fill that gap in their squads.

However, according to local news source DeichStube, the trail to Werder Bremen is currently not looking promising.

Sport BILD adds that the Green-Whites have even inquired about Arthur, but a transfer is considered “not feasible”.
