Apart from long-term absentees Emre Can and Giannis Konstantelias, Borussia Dortmund could have a full squad available for Saturday’s Bundesliga showdown with Bayern Munich.
“The players who have featured in recent weeks are all fit. Everyone is taking part in the final training session," Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovač told reporters at his pre-match press conference.
Significantly, Kovač revealed that Greek youngster Konstantinos Karetsas returned to partial team training on Thursday after missing the last three games with a ligament injury.
“'Kostas' was partially integrated today. It wasn’t particularly intense, but it was his first time training with the team (since suffering the injury, ed. note),” he said.
If everything goes according to plan, the 18-year-old attacking midfielder could be included in Dortmund’s squad for the trip to Munich.
"The plan is for him to train with the team tomorrow, provided there are no negative developments.”
