Sky Germany understands that Brighton Hove Albion now intend to sign Said El Mala and his brother Malek El Mala from 1.FC Köln in summer.

The Premier League side want both of them to move abroad together and support each other in the best possible way in England.

Malek is expected to develop with Brighton’s U-21 side in Premier League 2 – considered one of the strongest youth leagues in Europe.

The division features 29 different teams in total, including the U-21 sides of all top clubs in England's topflight – a perfect test for Malek.

Brighton are pushing to move ahead of Bayern and other interested clubs, with a €30million package, including bonuses, on the table.

However, it was long since established that Köln rejected this offer. Brighton also intend to offer five-year contracts for both players.
