Confirmed Lineups: VfB Stuttgart vs. 1. FC Heidenheim

Here are the lineups for Sunday’s early Bundesliga fixture.

Sebastian Hoeneß’s side came off a defeat in Europa League to Basel, but they aim for a third successive home victory in the league. Heidenheim picked their first points of the season last week with a 2-1 win over Augsburg.

Understandably, Frank Schmidt only makes one change as they search a first point away from home. Luca Kerber comes in place of Sirlord Conteh as last week' goal scorer missing this one due to an injury. Mathias Honsak is still out with a muscle injury. The winger scored the late winner when Heidenheim won at Stuttgart last season.

On the contrary, Hoeneß has to shuffle his side after dealing with a Thursday night fixture. The in-form striker Ermedin Demirovic will continue to play up front. However, he'll hand the captain's armband to Atakan Karazor with the experienced midfielder replacing Angelo Stiller.
