Sky Germany's sources have revealed that Ermedin Demirović's transfer to Galatasaray is no longer going to happen.

The 28-year-old feels very comfortable in VfB Stuttgart's team and senses a strong connection to the club and the city.

Furthermore, the public backing the striker received from head coach Sebastian Hoeneß was another influential factor.

Stuttgart has been informed about Demirović's decision, even though the club negotiated until the last minute with Galatasaray.

The Turkish giants had offered up to €20million, of which €2million were bonuses, but the clubs couldn't reach a quick agreement.

Demirović wanted clarity about his future and has now made a final decision, despite the arrival of Dzenan Pejčinović.

The Bosnian believes in his qualities, which he has impressively demonstrated with his performances over the past two years.

Demirović reportedly could have gotten a top contract in Istanbul over 3 years, earning around €5million per annum.
