On Wednesday, reports surfaced suggesting that Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko is nearing a transfer to FC Copenhagen in a deal worth approximately €5 million.

Speaking after Dortmund’s 1-0 win over Ulsan HD in Cincinnati at the FIFA Club World Cup, sporting director Sebastian Kehl addressed the speculation.

“I am in talks with Youssoufa, that’s true,” Kehl confirmed.

However, he emphasized that the move is not yet finalized.

“There are still a few things to be resolved. Once they are, we’ll make an announcement – but we’re not there yet.”

Moukoko, 20, spent last season on loan at OGC Nice and has one year remaining on his contract with BVB.
