Soon-to-be Borussia Dortmund player, Kauã Prates, has hardly featured for his current side Cruzeiro since agreeing to sign for the Westphalian giants.

Sky Germany reports that since his move to BVB was announced on 19 February, Prates hasn't played a single minute for the Brazilian side.

While Prates wasn't a regular starter even before the transfer was announced, he had previously featured in four out of five matches, starting three of them.

This is a development that Dortmund's bosses are unlikely to be pleased with considering the 17-year-old will move to the Bundesliga after he turns 18 in August.

Dortmund's officials even raved about their new signing, with sporting director Lars Ricken expressing his enthusiasm for the Brazilian whom they paid €12million for:

“With Kaua, we have been able to acquire an extremely exciting player. He is one of the most talented players in South America and, with his skills, ambition, and potential, is an excellent fit for Borussia Dortmund".

In contrast, Prates played a central role for the Brazilian U-20 national team. In the two friendlies against Paraguay's U-20 squad at the end of March.
