Klaus Filbry's "deep connection" with Bremen leads to club crest tattoo

Managing director Klaus Filbry has professed his love for Werder Bremen by getting the club's iconic diamond crest on the heel of his left foot.
“The tattoo is an expression of my deep connection to Werder,” Filbry explained with a smile, speaking to DeichStube.
“The club is much more than just an employer to me. I’ve now immortalized that [with the tattoo]," he added.
Filbry got the tattoo last Wednesday after unveiling the special shirt commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Weser Stadium.
The 59-year-old has been managing director of Werder Bremen for almost 17 years and chaired the management board since 2012.
During this time, a deep relationship has clearly developed, influencing him to get a tattoo in honour of his love for the Bundesliga outfit.
