Condition revealed for Leeds to trigger purchase clause for Eintracht Frankfurt's Bahoya

During the summer transfer window, Leeds United signed Jean-Mattéo Bahoya from Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, with a reported €30 million permanent transfer to follow if certain criteria are met. 

In that case, the German side would reportedly also secure a 15 per cent sell-on clause on the winger.

Bild now reports that, for the transfer to become permanent, Bahoya must make a total of 10 appearances for the Premier League club.

So far, the Frenchman has made just one appearance – playing only one minute – meaning there is still some way to go before the clause is triggered.

Bahoya joined Eintracht Frankfurt from French side Angers SCO in 2024 for a reported €8 million fee.
