Former Bundesliga superstar arrives in the MLS

Robert Lewandowski is officially up and running in the MLS.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich striker scored his first two goals for Chicago Fire in just his third appearance, leading his new side to a 2-1 victory over Charlotte FC. Lewandowski opened the scoring in the 20th minute before netting the winner in the 68th to seal all three points.
Elsewhere in MLS, another familiar Bundesliga face also got on the scoresheet. Lewandowski's former Bayern teammate Thomas Müller converted a penalty to earn the Vancouver Whitecaps a 1-1 draw against Los Angeles FC.
With both former Bayern stars already making an impact in North America, it will be intriguing to see whether they can enjoy the same level of success in MLS as European icons such as Thierry Henry, Zlatan Ibrahimović and Wayne Rooney.
