Bara Sapoko Ndiaye will sign for FC Bayern on a permanent transfer as Christoph Freund confirmed to BILD on Saturday. The Senegalese international played regularly for the double winners at the end of the 2025/26 season.

However, his sensational move from Gambinos Stars was initially on a six-month loan deal. FC Bayern’s sporting director has now confirmed that the 18-year-old will soon join Bayern’s training camp in Tegernsee after completing his permanent transfer.

"The final details still need to be clarified, but I expect him to start the season with us. Bara (Ndiaye) will undergo performance tests on Monday and then join the training camp in Tegernsee." said Freund as FC Bayern start their pre-season friendlies with a 2-1 defeat to Wehen Wiesbaden.

Niang played for Senegal in their Round of 32 exit to Belgium at the World Cup. He played four times in Bundesliga as Vincent Kompany had the luxury to rotate his side for Champions League nights after they secured the Meisterschale with games to spare.
