The transfer saga regarding Eintracht Frankfurt talisman Can Uzun to Galatasaray is slated to come to an abrupt end.

Sky Germany understands that Galatasaray desperately wanted the 20-year-old, but Uzun has decided against a move to Türkiye.

Unable to lure the versatile attacker to Istanbul, the Süper Lig giants have reacted and signed Lokomotiv Moscow's Aleksey Batrakov instead.

Uzun's future in Frankfurt remains open nonetheless, with various clubs from both Italy and Spain still showing interest.

The Hessen outfit is currently demanding a fee of €50 to 60million for Uzun who produced 10 goals and 5 assists in 28 games last season.

Meanwhile, interested parties such as SSC Napoli and AS Roma would apparently like to pay closer to €30–35 million at a maximum.
