Haller could miss the rest of the season

Sebastien Haller could reportedly miss the rest of the season after picking up an injury in Borussia Dortmund's win over Gladbach.

After fighting his way back to full fitness, Sebastian Haller made his first start for Borussia Dortmund since September in Saturday's 2-1 win over Gladbach.

However, the striker only lasted around 10 minutes on the pitch before being forced off with an ankle problem.

Dortmund coach Edin Terzic downplayed the injury after the game, saying that Dortmund "hope he won't be out for long".

But according to the Ruhr Nachrichten, it's completely ruled out that Haller will play against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, with the local publication even suggesting that it's unclear if the striker will be able to play at all this season.

Haller has scored three goals in 18 appearances this season.
