TSG Hoffenheim have officially sold Paul Hennrich to 1.FC Heidenheim, as confirmed by both clubs this afternoon, 16 June.

In moving to the recently relegated Bundesliga outfit, the 21-year-old has signed a long-term contract until 2031.

Sky Germany have reported that Hoffenheim will receive a transfer fee of €1.5million plus bonuses for the youngster.

A sell-on clause is also reportedly included in the deal for the Sinsheim club, who featured regularly for their reserve team last season.

“Paul has received excellent training at TSG Hoffenheim over the past few years and, as a young player, still possesses enormous potential.

"We are convinced that his proven quality in the 3. Liga last season, his mentality, and his ambition make him an excellent fit for our approach.

“We are delighted that such a talented player from TSG Hoffenheim has chosen to join our club, FC Heidenheim,” said Heidenheim CEO, Holger Sanwald.
