Hoffenheim reject initial €25 million BVB bid for Beier, Sky reports

Sky Germany is currently reporting that TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have rejected Borussia Dortmund's initial offer for German national team striker Maximilian Beier.

Borussia Dortmund's initial €25 million offer for Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier is - according to Sky Germany - not sufficient for the Sinsheimers. Frank Kramer and the ad-hoc TSG administrative team apparently want more for the 21-year-old, who is presently valued at €30 million in the latest transfer market update. Sky claims that Dortmund's performance-related bonuses push the BVB offer up to €25 million.

The deal remains likely to be completed as Beier is reported to be in agreement with the Westphalians and very much wishes to make the switch. Kramer and the TSG front office staff will likely settle on a slightly higher figure, perhaps with some more bonuses and a potential re-sale clause built in. Dortmund recently cashed in on Beier's national team colleague Niclas Füllkrug for a reported €32 million when bonuses are factored in.
