Having only recently had his loan move to 1. FC Köln from VfL Wolfsburg made permanent after the Billy Goats activated a €5.5 million purchase option, Jakub Kamiński could move on this summer.
In an interview with Kanał Sportowy, Kamiński refused to rule out a summer transfer, admitting that a move to the English Premier League appeals to him.
According to Bild, Brighton & Hove Albion could make a move for the Polish international, who reportedly has a €20 million release clause.
“It will depend on what options there are, whether I’m satisfied with them, whether it will be a step forward for me. The position, the system," Kaminski said of a possible summer transfer.
"At the moment I’m a Köln player, I still have four years left on my contract. If there is a chance to move forward, then it’s natural that every footballer wants to take that step. Sometimes such opportunities come only once in a career.
"My dream has always been to play in the Bundesliga, but after 104 matches and four seasons, my next dream is the Premier League. It’s the best league in the world, I would like to test myself there and see how I perform,” he added.
The 23-year-old versatile attacker was a key player for Köln in the 2025/26 season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 34 Bundesliga appearances.
