RB Leipzig have added another prominent player to their injury list.

Die Roten Bullen confirmed on Wednesday that Antonio Nusa is expected to be sidelined until the end of March with a knee injury.

The 19-year-old suffered the injury in the 2-0 win over St. Pauli on Sunday and will be treated conservatively.

“We’re hoping that Antonio can recover quickly," said RB Leipzig board member for sport Marcel Schäfer.

"This injury is obviously a blow to us – he’s enjoyed a really strong debut season at RB Leipzig.

“We will do everything we can to compensate for the current absences as a team.”

Nusa has racked up five goals and seven assists in 32 matches for Leipzig this season.

Benjamin Henrichs, Assan Ouedraogo, Xaver Schlager and Yussuf Poulsen are also out with injuries.

Meanwhile, captain Willi Orban will be suspended for Friday's game against Augsburg after being sent off in Sunday's win over St. Pauli.
