RB Leipzig place Hoffenheim's Asllani on their radar

The Saxony-based club could rival Borussia Dortmund for the Hoffenheim marksman.

According to a report from Sport BILD, RB Leipzig have set their sights on Fisnik Asllani of TSG Hoffenheim.

The 23-year-old is available for €30million thanks to a release clause and is on the Saxony club's shortlist of attacking options.

Initial talks have reportedly already taken place with the striker who finished last season with 10 goals and 7 assists. 

Borussia Dortmund, in particular, has long been linked with the Kosovan international, who offers versatility, playing several positions.

While Dortmund first need to clarify the future of Serhou Guirassy, it's also not certain that negotiations with will intensify anytime soon. 

Meanwhile, RB Leipzig already have Rômulo, Conrad Harder, and the talented Samba Konaté battling for the striker's spot.
