Kasper Hjulmand was understandably delighted after watching his Bayer Leverkusen side demolish 1. FC Heidenheim 6-0 on Saturday.

Speaking at the press conference after the game, which saw Leverkusen 5-0 up at halftime, Hjulmand said:

"We're very happy with this performance. I have the utmost respect for Heidenheim. It looked easy, but it wasn't.

“The early goal obviously helped a lot, and from then on we pressed hard and kept up the pace throughout the whole game.

“I think we can still do a bit better, but of course we’re very happy tonight,” said the Danish coach.

The win lifted Hjulmand and his team to fourth in the Bundesliga ahead of the remaining Bundesliga games of the weekend.
