Lyon confirm interest in Tolisso
Olympique Lyon have confirmed interest in re-signing Corentin Tolisso from Bayern München.
Back in 2017, Olympique Lyon sold Corentin Tolisso to Bayern München for €41.5 million.
Five years later, the French Ligue 1 side are interested in bringing back the 27-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
"We have spoken with Corentin Tolisso," admitted Lyon technical director Vincent Ponsot at a press conference, according to Bild.
"The trend of letting contracts expire could be an option for us to bring back former players. If there is an opportunity, we must take it," Ponsot added.
Tolisso has started two Bundesliga games in a row for Bayern, filling in for Leon Goretzka, who remains out indefinitely.
