RB Leipzig forward Yussuf Poulsen has underlined that he's not currently interested in finding a new club.

The Danish international has recently seen his playing time limited, having started Leipzig's last two games on the bench, but the 27-year-old sees no reason to panic.

"As long as I feel comfortable here, and we're still striving to be the best, I don't necessarily have to go anywhere else," Poulsen told ran.

"Besides, I also still have a contract until 2024," he added.

Leipzig lost head coach Julian Nagelsmann and key players Marcel Sabitzer and Dayot Upamecano to Bayern München ahead of this season. Although Poulsen was sad to see them leave, there is no bad blood from his side.

"It's part of the sport that the best players and coaches go to the best clubs. I don't blame them, although it was a blow for us as a team in Leipzig," he said.

"When the biggest competitor take our best players and coach, it just takes a bit of time until we are ready to minimize the gap to Bayern again."
