Leverkusen announce new kit partner

British brand Castore sportswear is unveiled as the new kit partner for the factory club.

Starting next season, up until 2027, Castore sportswear will be the kit manufacturer for Die Werkself, the club announced on their website today.

Castore are known for their partnerships with Formula One giants McLaren and tennis star Andy Murray. As far as football goes, the company provide kits for clubs like Newcastle United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Rangers. With this new partnership the club look to enhance their brand value on the international stage.

Club CEO Fernando Carro said "We have found an innovative partner in Castore whose ambitions very much fit in with Bayer 04. Both the quality of the products as well as the digital and international approach of the company has impressed us. Together with Castore, we want to set new standards in the future primarily in the areas of sponsorship and target group activation."

The JAKO kits of recent years have brought some fan favorite designs, but some overseas fans have had to shell out quite a bit to access merch internationally. With Castore Bayer intend to expand globally.
