Report: Bayern set up meeting with Kalajdzic's representatives

Bild reports that Bayern München are ready to step up their interest in VfB Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic.

Bayern München have set up a meeting with Sasa Kalajdzic's management at the beginning of this week, according to Kicker.

Robert Lewandowski confirmed his desire to leave the German champions on Saturday, and even if Bayern have emphasized that the Polish international will not be allowed to leave this summer, the search for a replacement is underway.

The 24-year-old Stuttgart forward is understood to be their preferred candidate, having convinced the Bayern bosses of his qualities, especially in the final stage of the season.

Kalajdzic is under contract until 2023, would cost between €20-25 million and has also been linked with Borussia Dortmund and SL Benfica among others.
