Over the course of two seasons, Hrustic scored three goals in 34 league appearances for his Bundesliga club. His new contract in Italy runs through 2025.
"Hrustic always put himself at the service of the team, especially last season," SGE sporting director Markus Krösche noted in a statement, "he behaved in an exemplary manner despite limited playing time. In the Europa League final, he played his part in winning the title by converting his penalty kick. The transfer is in reponse his request to get regular playing time. We wish him all the best for his future in Italy."
