Report: Leipzig face competition for Croatian defender
According to Fabrizio Romano, clubs from England and Spain have joined Leipzig in the race for Dinamo Zagreb center-back Josip Sutalo.
Several weeks ago, Croatian TV channel '24sata' reported that Leipzig submitted an €18 million offer for Dinamo Zagreb defender Josip Sutalo. Leipzig wanted the 22-year-old to join the club next year, but Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that clubs from England and Spain are trying to beat the Red Bull side to his signature.
Sutalo would join Dani Olmo and Josko Gvardiol as former Dinamo Zagreb players who've made the switch to Leipzig. The center-back's contract expires in 2028.
