Bayern Munich are apparently prepared to let Benjamin Pavard leave the club for a cut price at the end of the season.

Since Pavard will only have one year left on his contract in the summer, Bayern could let him go for a fee around €15 million, according to Spanish publication SPORT.

FC Barcelona are among the clubs keeping tabs on the French defender, who has indicated that he wants to leave the German champions.

“He is a real option for us. His contract expires in 2024 and he wants to leave,” Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently admitted in an interview with AS.

Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic told Sport Bild earlier this week that he wants to sort out Pavard's future as soon as possible.

"We have to see what's best for both sides."

Asked if Bayern are looking for a possible replacement for Pavard, Salihamidzic said:

"With his contract situation, we would be doing things wrong if we didn't keep a close eye on the market. As always, we're keeping our eyes wide open."
