The U.S. League allows franchises to claim players through an American-style "draft system". Pfannenstiel's expansion club retains the first rights of refusal. If St. Louis waives the player, the Bay Area club can complete the signing. In a transfer update published on their website, Germany's preeminent footballing publication - Kicker magazine - asserts that Gruezo will definitely join the Quakes of Silicon Valley.
Having already completed five incoming transfers thus far during this window, Germany's Fuggerstädter shall have no problems allowing Gruezo to depart after three-plus seasons in Bavaria. Gruezo's current estimated market worth stands at €4 million, though a transfer can surely be finalized for well below that amount.
#Quakes74 are the club interested in Gruezo. #stlcitysc have the no.1 pick in the re-entry draft and, therefore, have control on where Gruezo will end up. Source underlines that no club has been in contact with St. Louis CITY SC up to this point. https://t.co/SDV8GLT9bj
